Wolcott, VT, Morristown, VT

 July 15, 2021

We are now at Mountain View Campground in Morristown, VT. Near here is the town of Wolcott, where Phil has Ancestor’s. The rest of us just chilled out while Phil went to see what he could find.

Phil's ancestor got into hot water with the church because he brought in a Black minister, George S. Brown, to take charge of the church in Wolcott

Look carefully at the house in the next picture, the sign above tells the story of the barn.
Do you see the pitch of the roof and where the snow would fall when the sun hits the metal roof on the barn? The snow will slide right off the roof and onto the road, or whatever is underneath it!
This is the last covered rail bridge in VT, maybe the U.S.
