Today we traveled to Morning Star RV Park & Campground. The mailing address is Corning, NY, but it’s actually about 7 miles north on a quiet country road. There is a train that goes through 2-3 times a day. The tracts are about 10’ from the back of our rig.

This is a small park, with about 20 RV sites and maybe 10 tent sites

After we got set up, we backtracked a little to go to Watkins Glen State Park, located in Watkins Glen, NY. To quote one write up, “Glen Creek has poured down the glacially steepened valley side for 12,000 years leaving 19 glistening waterfalls and cascades, some of which visitors walk behind on the gorge trail.” It’s very rugged and very green, a beautiful little valley. There are over 800 steps to get up into the gorge to see all of the falls. I was using the walker today, so there was no way I was going up there, Phil went most of the way and got some beautiful pictures.
